  1. Apple Pay
If you opt for the "Apple Pay" payment method from Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, payment will be processed via the "Apple Pay" function of your device operated with iOS, watchOS or macOS by charging a payment card stored with "Apple Pay". Apple Pay uses security functions that are integrated into the hardware and software of your device to protect your transactions. To authorize a payment, you must therefore enter a code that you have previously defined and verify it using the Face ID or Touch ID function on your device.
For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the order process, together with information about your order, will be forwarded to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then encrypts this data again with a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay to process the payment. The encryption ensures that only the website through which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the source website to confirm the success of the payment.

If personal data is processed during the described transfers, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 b) GDPR. Apple stores anonymized transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, the approximate date and time and whether the transaction was successfully completed. Anonymization completely excludes any personal reference. Apple uses the anonymized data to improve Apple Pay and other Apple products and services.

When you use Apple Pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase made via Safari on your Mac, the Mac and the authorization device communicate via an encrypted channel on Apple's servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that can be used to identify you. You can disable the ability to use Apple Pay on your Mac in your iPhone settings. Go to "Wallet & Apple Pay" and deactivate "Allow payments on Mac". You can find further information on data protection with Apple Pay at the following Internet address: https://support.apple.com/de-de/HT203027

  1. Google Pay
If you choose the "Google Pay" payment method from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), payment will be processed via the "Google Pay" application on your mobile device running at least Android 4.4 ("KitKat") and equipped with an NFC function by charging a payment card stored with Google Pay or a payment system verified there (e.g. PayPal). To approve a payment via Google Pay of more than €25, your mobile device must first be unlocked using the verification measure set up in each case (e.g. facial recognition, password, fingerprint or pattern). For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, together with information about your order, will be passed on to Google. Google then transmits your payment information stored in Google Pay to the source website in the form of a unique transaction number, which is used to verify that a payment has been made. This transaction number does not contain any information about the real payment data of your means of payment stored with Google Pay, but is created and transmitted as a uniquely valid numerical token. For all transactions via Google Pay, Google only acts as an intermediary for processing the payment process. The transaction is carried out exclusively in the relationship between the user and the source website by debiting the means of payment stored with Google Pay.

If personal data is processed during the described transfers, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 b) GDPR.
Google reserves the right to collect, store and analyze certain transaction-specific information for each transaction made via Google Pay. This includes the date, time and amount of the transaction, merchant location and description, a description of the goods or services purchased provided by the merchant, photos you have attached to the transaction, the name and email address of the seller and buyer or the sender and recipient, the payment method used, your description of the reason for the transaction and, if applicable, the offer associated with the transaction.

According to Google, this processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f) GDPR on the basis of the legitimate interest in proper accounting, the verification of transaction data and the optimization and maintenance of the functionality of the Google Pay service.
Google also reserves the right to merge the processed transaction data with other information collected and stored by Google when using other Google services.

The website uses the so-called "Facebook tracking pixel". The provider is Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). This tracking pixel enables us to place targeted advertising and to statistically analyze the success rate of the displayed advertising, for example until the purchase is completed.

Additional personal data is transmitted to Facebook, such as name, email address or address. However, the "extended comparison" would only be possible with your consent.

To prevent tracking by Facebook's tracking pixel, you can deactivate the tracking pixel function by clicking on the following link: (Please insert the link to the Java Script opt-out cookie here). This website uses the Shopify app "Shopsync" from ShopSync LLC, PO Box 252, Jefferson City, TN 37760, USA.

With the help of ShopSync, the newsletter service "Mailchimp" is synchronized with our Shopify account in such a way that, on the one hand, updates in Mailchimp email lists (such as an opt-out by a newsletter recipient) are automatically stored on Shopify and, on the other hand, new contact data generated via contracts concluded on Shopify are automatically transferred to the Mailchimp email lists. In the former case, data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the effective and cross-system maintenance of the files of advertising addressees and the efficient observance of legally significant status changes.

In the second case, ShopSync transfers the user's first and last name, address and email address together with transaction-related information (purchase amount, time and date of purchase) to Mailchimp for inclusion in the Mailchimp list exclusively on the basis of the user's express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 a) GDPR after a contract has been concluded on Shopify.

Data transferred in this way is not stored or retained by ShopSync after synchronization. All information synchronized between Shopify and Mailchimp is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, and all transmitted information remains encrypted during the synchronization process. The synchronization process requires the transfer of information via a secure connection to servers hosted by Amazon Web Services in the USA. Amazon Web Services, based in the USA, is certified for the US-European data protection agreement "Privacy Shield", which guarantees compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU. A current certificate can be viewed here: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000TOWQAA4

Presence in the social media

We maintain online presences within social networks and process user data in this context in order to communicate with the users active there or to offer information about us.

We would like to point out that user data may be processed outside the European Union. This may result in risks for users because, for example, it could make it more difficult to enforce users' rights.

Furthermore, user data within social networks is generally processed for market research and advertising purposes. For example, user profiles can be created based on user behavior and the resulting interests of users. The user profiles can in turn be used, for example, to place advertisements within and outside the networks that presumably correspond to the interests of the users. For these purposes, cookies are generally stored on the user's computer, in which the user's usage behavior and interests are stored. Furthermore, data can also be stored in the user profiles independently of the devices used by the users (especially if the users are members of the respective platforms and are logged in to them).

For a detailed description of the respective forms of processing and the opt-out options, please refer to the data protection declarations and information provided by the operators of the respective networks.

In the case of requests for information and the assertion of data subject rights, we would also like to point out that these can be asserted most effectively with the providers. Only the providers have access to the users' data and can take appropriate measures and provide information directly. If you still need help, you can contact us.

We operate a Pinterest profile of Pinterest Inc. 808 Brannan Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. Pinterest is a so-called social network. A social network is a social meeting place operated on the Internet, an online community that generally enables users to communicate with each other and interact in virtual space. A social network can serve as a platform for the exchange of opinions and experiences or enable the Internet community to provide personal or company-related information. Pinterest enables users of the social network to publish image collections and individual images as well as descriptions on virtual pinboards (so-called pinning), which can then be shared by other users (so-called repinning) or commented on.

With each call-up to one of the individual pages of this Internet site, which is operated by the controller and on which a Pinterest component (Pinterest plug-in) was integrated, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically prompted to the download of a display of the corresponding Pinterest component of Pinterest. More information about Pinterest can be found at https://pinterest.com/ retrievable. As part of this technical process, Pinterest receives information about which specific subpage of our website is visited by the data subject.

If the data subject is logged in at the same time on Pinterest, Pinterest recognizes with each call-up to our website by the data subject and for the entire duration of their stay on our Internet site, which specific sub-page of our Internet page was visited by the data subject. This information is collected by the Pinterest component and assigned by Pinterest to the respective Pinterest account of the data subject. If the data subject clicks on one of the Pinterest buttons integrated on our website, Pinterest assigns this information to the personal Pinterest user account of the data subject and stores this personal data.

Pinterest always receives information via the Pinterest component that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is logged in to Pinterest at the same time as accessing our website; this takes place regardless of whether the data subject clicks on the Pinterest component or not. If such a transmission of this information to Pinterest is not desirable for the data subject, the delivery may be prevented if the data subject logs off from their Pinterest account before a call-up to our website is made. The data protection guideline published by Pinterest, which is available at https://about.pinterest.com/privacy-policy provides information about the collection, processing and use of personal data by Pinterest.
